The Sweetwater County Historical Museum is located in the City of Green River in Sweetwater County in southwestern Wyoming.  Click here for a close-up map of Sweetwater County.
 

DIRECTIONS TO THE MUSEUM

The Sweetwater County Historical Museum is located at 3 East Flaming Gorge Way in downtown Green River.  Just minutes off I-80, travelers may exit the interstate at Exit 89 from the west, or Exit 91 from the east, and follow the signs to the museum.  Visitors may also approach Green River from the south via State Route 530 along the west side of Flaming Gorge.  The state highway turns into Uinta Drive upon entry to the city and ends at Flaming Gorge Way.  Turn right (west) into Flaming Gorge Way to go to the museum.
