Historic Party Bus

The museums are going mobile with a Party Bus tour of Downtown Rock Springs as part of our celebrations of 90 years of the Rock Springs Chamber and 250 years of the United States. Join us on Tuesday, June 9 at 6:00 pm for this unique tour of iconic spots of Downtown Rock Springs. Hosted in collaboration with the Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce, the Rock Springs Historical Museum, and the Sweetwater County Historical Museum, everyone will board one of Between the Lines party buses and travel to hidden gems and historic businesses that make Rock Springs a thriving community. Along the way, business owners and local historians will hop on the bus to share their stories and we will step off for exclusive after-hours tours of a few local buildings.

This tour will begin at the North Front Parking Lot and tour for 1.5-2 hours, returning to the same lot around 8:00 pm. Afterwards, join the Chamber and museums at the Park Lounge for extended history on the Park Hotel, plus the chance to win a prize! Additionally, Madi’s Tasty Creations food truck will be at the Park Lounge from 5:00 - 9:00 pm for attendees to grab dinner before and after the tour, so make sure to bring your appetite! This event is generously sponsored by a Wyoming Humanities Culture Grows Grant awarded to the Sweetwater County Historical Museum.
